As part of our all-inclusive service we can provide assistance with applications and all the practical help youll ever need with ongoing maintenance and servicing. We can also arrange for special modifications to be carried out if you need them. With a brand new car available every three years our worry-free package includes:

• Insurance cover • Regular servicing and maintenance • RAC breakdown cover

• Road tax • Free replacement tyres • Increased mileage allowance - now 60,000 miles over three years

• No credit checks • No assessments • No paper-work

Whos Eligible for Motability?

You can apply for the Motability scheme as a driver or passenger, or as a parent or carer on behalf of a child aged three or over. The scheme is available to people receiving one of the following benefits, who have at least 12 months’ award length remaining when they apply:

• Higher Rate Component of the Disability Living Allowance; or

• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement.

Motability Schemes

We are able to offer three ways to help with your mobility. Either Motability New Car Contract Hire Scheme or Motability New Car Hire Purchase Plan in exchange for all, or part, of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance. Or as a registered disabled person, you can also purchase selected new cars outright at a favourable discount on our Mobility Plan.

1. Motability New Car Contract Hire Scheme

This low-cost package is easily the most popular in the Motability Scheme. All you have to do is pay an Advance Payment (if applicable) and then in exchange for your Allowance you can get a brand new car for 3 years. Your car will be fully maintained, serviced and insured for the 3-year period. You can travel up to 15,000 miles a year, without an excess mileage charge and all you have to pay for is your fuel and oil. When the 3-year period is over you simply return your car and choose a new one!

2. Motability New Car Hire Purchase Plan

We also offers a favourable discount on a wide range of vehicles that can be purchased using all or part of your Allowance. The length of a Hire Purchase Agreement is 4 or 5 years and at the end of the period the car is yours to keep.

3. Mobility Plan

If youre registered disabled and dont qualify for Motability assistance then you will be able to take advantage of our favourable discounts and purchase many new cars outright.

Special adaptations.

For the 10% of Motability customers who require a special adaptation to enable them to drive safely or travel in comfort as a passenger, special adaptations may be required. Motability can provide a full list of available models suitable for special adaptations.
